ADCO
NORTH constructed a new tank farm in Gameti (Rae Lakes) for
the Government of the Northwest Territories. The project consisted
of constructing three 465 cubic meter vertical tanks in Hay
River, NT, and hauling them by transport truck on the winter
road to the site and placing them. The project consisted of
site preparation, provide new piping, a new operator’s
shelter, a new dispencer building, two new skid mounted dispencers,
the strapping and calibration of the tanks and all electrical
services, including new tank and area lighting. As well, all
civil components were provided by ADCO, including the structural
steel components, the construction of the cell and berm, concrete
work and equipment operation, grading of drainage control
ditches, vehicle turn around, new fencing and painting of
the new tanks.
